Toxics Reduction Act

Meeting Ontario's T.R.A. Reporting Requirements

The Ontario Toxics Reduction Act 2009 stipulates that companies based in Ontario must, on a yearly basis, track, quantify and report the amount of toxic substances which are used, created, contained and released in their products. The act further requires regulated facilities to develop plans to reduce the use and creation of these substances and make their plans available to the public.
